The General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China released a decree to suspend levying fee for customs IP recordation starting from November 1, 2015.

The General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China  released Decree of General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China No. 51 (2015) on October 30, 2015 to suspend levying fee for customs IP recordation . Decree of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China No. 15 (2004) implemented starting from May 25, 2004 was suspended at the same time.


The General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China  released Decree of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China No. 15 (2004) and regulated that where an IP right holder applied for protective recordation of IP in customs to the General Administration of Customs, the applicant shall pay 800 yuan as the fee for customs IP recordation for each recordation application.
