Mr. David W. Cheng

Mr. David W. Cheng is a patent and trademark attorney. He received his B.S. in Medicine from China Medical University and LL.M. from Beijing (Peking) University. Before starting his intellectual property practice in 1985, Mr. Cheng worked in the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College as a researcher. Mr. Cheng was the former vice president of NTD Patent & Trademark Agency Ltd. He wrote and translated many articles and books concerning the Chinese and foreign intellectual property laws. He is now a standing council member of the China Intellectual Property Society and All-China Patent Agents Association, a member of the legal scholars in the Center for International Legal Studies in Austria, FICPI, LES, AIPPI, CIPA, INTA and NAPP.
